received of his portion six hundred and sixty dollars, Roger has
received in
money and one year at a trade one hundred and eighty dollars, James has
received fifty Dollars in money, Martin has a deed of seven acres of

reduction for him as the land may be priced, Samuel has received

James must have three quarters as much as the others on the account of

toward the said fifty pounds each or to be paid out of my moveable or
personal
estate after my said wife hath had her thirds at the Inventory s'd

of (which they please) my said sons to pay the remainder of the said

pounds if any want there be. And if there shall happen a
surplusage of
moveable or personal Estate of mine viz more than enough to pay the
said fifty
pounds each to my said daughters, my will is that what remains there of
shall
be equally divided between my said two daughters.
My Will further is that if either my son Edward or William shall happen
to dye
without issue male of his body lawfully begotten that then the land
hereby
given to that my said son so dying shall go and discend to my surviving
son,
my son so surviving paying one fourth part of the value thereof to the
daughters of my son so dying if any be, or if there by none to her, and
two
fourth part of said value to my two daughters aforesaid to be equally
divided
between them.
And further my Will is that after my decease John Cadwell who now
dwells with
and is bound to me, if I happen to dye before his time is out, shall go
to my
son William according to the Indentures and that my s'd son William
shall pay
the twenty pounds due by the said Indentures to the said John when his
time is
out. My Will also further is that if the said Diego happen to
live, so
that
by force of this my Will, he come to serve my said son William, my said
son
William shall in consideration thereof pay to each of my two daughters

their heirs the sum of five pounds currant money. Lastly I

revoke any and all other & former wills by me made and declare this
to be

I Ruth Cadwell of Hartford in the County of Hartford being of sound and
disposing mind and memory but weak in body and knowing that I am born
to die
do make this my last Will and Testament and first commending my Soul
into the
hands of God who gave it hoping through the Merits of a Crucified
Savior for a
free pardon of all my sins and an admission in those Joys which are
prepared
for them that our sanctified and as to such worldly goods as it has
pleased
Almighty God to bestow to bestow [sic] upon me in this life I give

daughters of the s'd Rachel to be equally divided between them.

or marriage of the
said Rachel Wadsworth I give and bequeath unto William Wadsworth the
son of
the said Rachel all my lands and buildings in the homestead where I now
live
to him his heirs & assigns forever.
Item after the death of my said sister and the

or marriage of the
said Rachel I give and bequeath unto my niece Jerusha Hutchinson all my
lands
lying over the Hog River at or near the first hill to her her heirs and
assigns forever.
Item after the death of my said sister and

marriage or death of
my said niece Rachel Wadswroth I give all my Real Estate not before
herein
devised to my three cousins the s'd Lucy Nancy & Caty to them their
